me fa hua chi-ing in the dressing room. thats a rose from nicholas! thanks loads dude~ that really made my day :) the rose was a little burnt coz he left it under the lightbulbs around the mirror and he forgot to water it :x but nonetheless the thought was there~ :) we caught him in our room and i thought he was stealing our stuffs! ended up he was busily plucking off the burnt petals so that he could give us nicer looking roses when we came back :) such a nice guy!

on top of all nice nice things you saw above, there were painful times too.






old floorburn from practises in school, new floorburn last night during the last full run on stage :( wore plaster and the plaster got BURNT too :x imagine my skin burning off instead of the plaster.

my legs were so tired by the time we reached the actual thing.. so when i had to kneel down i just released my body totally.. as a result, an orh ceh 1/4 size of my entire knee. no more photos of that :)

oh anyway, sorry there were only photos of me in the lyrical costume coz i didn't really have the mood and time to take photos of the hip hop one.. heh.

several points about reverie III.

1) i almost went nuts towards the event, as the practises became so frequent. i admit i do not have the endurance, since aprine could dance 7 days in a row for 3 items while i almost died dancing 5 days non-consecutively in a week for 1.25 items. for me, commitment kills all passion. thats why i'm not a very stage person.

2) there's this siao za bor i cannot stand. she's the most ill-mannered girl i've ever seen in my entire life. i shan't describe in detail how horrible she is, and yucks coz she's coming to ntu too. i hope she doesn't stay in the hostel and even if she does, please do not let us be hall mates and better still, let our halls be far far away can. the sight of her irks me. i seldom hate or even dislike anyone, but she's really too much for me to bear. how i wish i can give her a tight slap.. stupid hypocrite.

3) i didn't fall and i didn't forget my steps. so hooray! :) BUT after the whole event i realised my shorts was unzipped :Xx it was still zipped before the lyrical item began! so i bet it must have came off while i danced. holy shit. lousy shorts! and coz the backstage was so dark nobody saw and pointed out to me. i must have gone up for curtain call with unzipped shorts! goshhh and i was in the middle of the stage somemore. T_T i'm seriously damn disturbed by this man. i wonder who saw! luckily i wasn't exposed coz i had my tights and leotard inside. phew.

4) although there were many politics going on in the alumni, it was still the last time we performed together on stage.. so we got quite emotional before we went up.. things are always like this.. when we are going through it we hate it so much and can't wait for it to be over but once it is over we'll start missing it again. so we'll want to go through it one more time and once we do so we'll start thinking that we must have been crazy to want to do that. haha.

5) last but not least, my thank you list :)

yvonne and sherilyn : for fighting the tough battle with me all this while :) thanks for everything! sherilyn, i'll miss the late night train rides home with you and yvonne, i'll miss the time we had lunches and dinners opposite tj :) i'll never forget the feeling of eating pork right in front of the whole row of muslim stalls! hehe.

nicholas and aprine : thanks for the lovely flowers! :D

samartha and friends : thanks for coming down to support us!

weijie and jesmine : thank you people for remembering the dance night and wishing me all the best for it! :D

a big thank you to all those who had lent their ears to me! :)







dance night aside, i'm officially going to quit my job on 29 june! just when going to work seems less of a nuisance to me :( working life has never been so fun as it is now, with all my funny colleagues around :) why didn't they join the bank as early as i did so we could have spent more time together?! sigh.. i'll treasure my remaining days in the bank with them..

i think we'll still keep in touch though :) hopefully our planned batam trip in july pulls through!
